Homework, August 20th

I am sorry that I haven't updated this in the past few days. I will try and be better about that.

A few notes, especially for the 6th grade parents:
Picture day is tomorrow- students can wear either the school uniform or "Sunday dress" with uniform shoes. If you would like to purchase pictures, your student must have a completed form with money. Additional forms are in the office, if needed.

Permission slips for our "park day" went home this week. We are going to or park on September 16.

Als, Mygradebook.com information, including passwords, went home TODAY. If you have not seen this- please ask your student. If your other children in grades have not brought these home, don't panic- I just did them while two classes were taking tests. I know for a fact that 7th and 8th grades' sheets did not go home today. They are coming.

So, as for homework:

6th:
Language: (Completion grade only) pg 3 sentences; classify on a sheet of paper. Make sure that you also completed the vocab card for ambiguous. Binder check tomorrow (just checking to make sure that students are using them, and that they are in order...)
Spel: Pre-test, Unit 3 tomorrow
Math:
Mr. A- PS 8 1-25
Mr. R- PS 8 1-30

7th and 8th grade:
Spel: Pre-test, Unit 3 tomorrow

Finally- have you checked out www.spellingcity.com ? It is a great tool for students to use to drill for tests. I will upload new lists on Fridays. Just go to Find a list, and type in my name (Becke Smith). I have the lists ordered by grade level!

Have a great evening!
